About the Role
As a Freelance Solar Engineer at SolaGo Solar, you'll play a crucial role in designing, planning, and executing solar energy projects in and around Davao City. Your work will contribute to our mission of making clean energy accessible to all. Here's what you'll be doing:
Project Assessment: Conduct on-site assessments to determine the feasibility of solar installations, considering factors like location, energy requirements, and system size.
System Design: Create customized solar system designs that maximize energy production and efficiency, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in solar technology, photovoltaic systems, and electrical engineering to solve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure that solar installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including design plans, engineering calculations, and reports.
Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to explain project details, address their questions or concerns, and ensure their satisfaction.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in solar engineering or a related role.
Possession of relevant certifications recognized by local authorities and professional organizations in the Philippines.
Strong technical knowledge of solar technology, electrical systems, and safety practices.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and design applications.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
